Kairos’ Muses – Part 2: The Escape (1941 – 1943)
A sweeping saga about female resistance fighters, spies, and an ordinary young Dutchman who seizes every fleeting moment and favorable opportunity to escape his dire fate during WWII and beyond. Based on true events.
In the second part of this trilogy, the reader suffers the indignities of the war with Kairos and all the “Muses” who unbeknownst to him are instrumental in aiding him. After a mysterious savior foils an attempt on his life in Amsterdam, Kairos escapes to Paris where Nina of the Folies Bergère and alleged double-spy King-Kong help him get to the Pyrenees Mountains. As the darkest nights of the war begin for the Dutch “Muses,” Kairos goes on a perilous trip via Belgian Andrée de Jongh’s Comet Escape Line to Spain. Will he survive the ordeal?
