GREAT FALLS
This novel about the Potomac River and the mighty Great Falls of Maryland and Virginia explores how times change, but the river does not. There where once the Piscataway and Powhatan tribes traded goods, where the British staked a claim, and where a textile and powder mill harnessed the power of the water, now the rich and famous live. Filthy rich dictators with blood on their hands live next door to athletes and celebrities. On the banks of the Great Falls, some of the rich perched high atop their Olympian heights fancy themselves gods. Yet, the ancient, ever-flowing river will reduce those who do not repent to the mere mortals they always were. Those who protect the river will be protected by her.
