Set in France, the Sahara, and the USA, this trilogy follows an innocent, provincial young woman as she adapts first to life as a vet in Paris, then to the new self she was not aware of, and finally to motherhood. As they get entangled in an international web of terrorism with near-fatal consequences, the stakes are ever higher.
