ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Jorinde -pronounced /You’re in da/- is a writer, educator, and global citizen. After growing up in the Netherlands, she moved to the Washington DC area, earned a Ph.D. in English Literature, and started teaching at one of the most diverse community colleges in the USA.

Jorinde is an avid traveler and reader because she believes it is the best way to get to know our ancestors’ history, our own history, ourselves, others, the world, and our place in history and the world.
